THAT'S WHAT I'M SAYIN! I wasted an hour and a half on this game playing through it 3 times and discovered all the secrets and i dont get it either
I'm just wondering if there's more official sources behind this somewhere that can explain the plot. And to my knowledge there's no way to even watch the tape just stand behind julianna cause I dunno.
That being said there is something otherworldly about the tape, and it draws its viewers into some sort of time loop. Why it was delivered to Walter, who knows. Perhaps he killed himself to escape it; perhaps by doing so he became trapped. I'm not sure what the real or even the best ending is, if there even is an ending beyond endlessly repeating the cycle. Puzzling, but intriguing at the same time.
And yes, Julianna was indeed hot.

I'd say it's deliberately obtuse for us, but the devs may have some overall plan if they release enough games that gives more detail. The next one is Drowned Lake set in the forest, which may tie into the boat you find in this game.

Also thanks for the links, looks interesting.
There's quite a few of these kinda games I'm interested in, not really a fan of most visual novel/visual puzzle games. But this one was good, its gotta be interesting and hold my attention. Like the steam series disturbed.
Drowned god don't even have a steam or gog version, so I have not played it.
Same with an old psx game called psychic detective where a dude uses psychics to see who murderers are. Its really cheesy but it was a fun visual choice game. Some others that interest me are harvester and I have no mouth but I must scream. Which the last ones actually based on a weird sci fi novel from the 60s or 70s.
Harvester I bought on steam but it started auto skipping cutscenes. I don't know why but I think I'll try the gog version since it goes on sell for a good price.
