Just as a side note, if you have started a raid, it wont be lost until you either abandon it or complete it.

At the end of the day, people are having fun playing your game, whether it's grinding raids, or playing as "intended"
Other people that don't like to grind raids, just won't do that. IMO, more options is never bad, as people can choose to use/do them or not.
I remember having so much fun grinding levels in final fantasy games so that the next bit of the game felt like I was really strong.
