Windows 10 Sound Problems

Hi Today I came to play payday 2 and I notis that the sound ingame are different ( now I now there was some big Mocrosoft update yesterday and today ) but I check all mu sound seting and it is all on max also when I play music or wach video some of the section sound more low then it was the effects that are lower are Ingame Menu music ( I bearly heart that music ) 2. Voice in Beckground also weary hard to hear and I have my ingame volume unchenge 3. Main Voice lets say in mission discriptions the voice seams to be low too 4. Music in game it sound sod of ok but in preplaning menu is low and finaly 5. the gun sound when I fire a gun its like nuklear detonation it is so laud tha it make the game unplaible for me also effects like glas braking and granades detonations are just too hyght . I try play around the ingame volume but it dont do so much but most importenly it dont change the voice problems and effects like ( gun fire glass and so on ) also please accept my sorry if such a discussion already exist and redirect me there

well so fare I run some tests and there is no way I go over 48000hz other wise I will be deaf but then it makes hard to hear the in game music and dialog any way I look for the link you provide and I will try play around wit it also thanks for moving that discussion in the propriet section

so so fare I try the first option and it dos nothing no change at all so I did the second option and uninstall the think and after computer resets it dose 2x think it fixes the windows media player so now movies work ok in there but in Payday 2 all the sound go more laud what is good for the ingame menu music and dialogs but bad for the intro movie and the effects like ( gun sound and so on ) also when I look in to the Sound options this massage came ( Windows has detected that audio enhancements for the fallowing device are causing problems

Microphone ( conexant Smart Audio HD )

Audio enhancement for this device have bean disabled

I use now because I went in game to tested but since there is no improvements I have no idea what next also that massage not came any more

Geting little bit sick of this think instead of having fun an play with friends I spear hall day around this rabis

Hm. I suggest you try to disable that, just to see what happens.

I also suggest re-installing the VC redistributables and direct X (probably don't need to re-install PhysX). Just in case this is what is causing the issue (I do doubt it is the problem though).

And if that still doesn't work. You can try to re-install PD2.

And if it is STILL having problems after that. Then it is likely a hardware/driver issue. And the most I can really suggest is troubleshooting it in the sound control panel (windows button -> search bar -> "Sound") and re-installing the drivers again.

But do it this way:

Restart your computer in safe mode.

Uninstall it like above.

Restart in safe mode again.

Re-install it.

Restart in normal mode and try again.

And you are certain you don't have PDmods installed through bundle modder? Or had them previously installed?

No I never tach any mods since I feal that Iam cheating if I have moded game any way I try the last option and it dos nothink only difference I notes is that ingame voices are more laud but thats all beside that the intro still ridiculelsly laud and the guns sound too

Just making sure. People forget about PDmods very often ^^

Did this problem happen before or after you upgraded to windows 10? Or after you got a new speaker/microphone/headset etc?

all heppen afther the last update but I have grate news mate :-P I fixe that ♥♥♥♥ like 1 min ago I use the last option provided in that link but then I went to the Sound / Properties and I enable this 2x thinks for my spakers.

1. Loudnes Equalization ( What I think was the case that make all the truble )

2. Bass Boost


But what I found was that the conexant Smart Audio HD dont provide this options at least I dont found them so right now all the stuff work good I finaly hear the voices and most importenly I will not get deaf by the gun sound deam so happy about that now time to robe some banks
