hotline miami dlc not working

im fairly new and got the hotline miami dlc with the dlc bundle, but when i go in game it says i don't have the dlc. I cant spend the extra dollar or whatever to fix it since it literally says i have the dlc, yet it just doesn't work.

What content you are unable to access? there is multiple colaboration items that are tied to having the DLC or the HM games

There is technically 3 different versions
The Hotline Miami Heist DLC
The Hotline Miami 2 Deluxe edition (Jacket pack)
And the Hotline Miami 1 mask pack with the suitcase

assuming you own the digital deluxe edition of hotline miami 2, make sure you have it installed and restart payday 2/steam

no i cant access none of the hotline miami DLC. also yeah yeah i know theres a deluxe edition but IT LITERALLY SAYS I HAVE THE DLC IN MY LIBRARY

The "Payday 2 Legacy Collection" includes the "Hotline Miami DLC". The "Hotline Miami DLC" unlocks a heist and some melee weapons, distance weapons, masks, patterns and materials.

Owning the game "Hotline Miami" unlocks a melee weapon and some masks, patterns and materials.
Owning "Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number" unlocks some masks.
The "Hotline Miami Collection" includes the games "Hotline Miami" and "Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number".

Owning "Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number - Digital Special Edition" additionally unlocks the "Jacket Character Pack" for Payday 2 which includes the character Jacket and his melee weapon, distance weapon and mask. When you own "Hotline Miami 2: Wrong Number" as normal version, Steam doesn't let you buy the game again. Then you've to buy the "Digital Special Edition Upgrade". For any reason the upgrade was removed from the store page but it's still avaible from the direct link ( https://store.steampowered.com/sub/62816 ).

The locked items in Payday 2 should tell you exactly what you need to own. When it says "Hotline Miami DLC", then it means the "Hotline Miami DLC", nothing else.
