Achieving highest melee damage
So, I want to do a sociopath build, which means I need a good melee damage, which is done by doing "Brawler" branch is Fugitive skill tree. The thing is, it's hard for me to count the damage I wiil deal as a result. For example, we have 20 damage. Pumping iron gives us +100%, which means we now have 40 damage. Okay. This is where it gets complicated. Blood thirst gives us up to +1600%, but what is the starting point? Will it give me 20*16 or 40*16 damage? And will this result add to 40 we have already or will it replace it? And now we are also adding Berserker on top of it, which means another +250% damage, but what is this applies to - I don't damn know. Please somebody explain this mechanics to me.

It is mentioned as an additional 100% up to 1600% meaning it will just keep adding up the original damage i.e 40. With the 250% I can only guess that it will be increasing whatever damage you have at that current moment since it comes later.

So I've tried playing DW with Sociopath and these perks and I actually consider doing melee-only build. There is a hidden stat in Sociopath and Intervent which gets you +1000% melee damage for 1 second after melee hit. Basically, your first hit can be pretty bad but the second deals a ton of damage even if you've killed nobody with non-melee. Actually, I want to say that you pretty much don't need to count anything because you are killing almost everyone with your second blow. I've actually managed to kill skulldozer in one hit. It would be good to count the damage I can deal, though.

Sounds pretty fun. Care to share your build/armour setup etc?

Get a shotgun with DB to mass stagger cops on range, build up melee damage stacks and a gun to dispatch snipers.
Then the usual. Doctor bags, Jokers, crits, Frenzerker.
If you're lucky, you can reach 5-digit damage numbers with Sociopath with the 60 damage 0s cooldown melees..

Well I'm going to test it out and I will share the build in form of a steam guide when I will find a viable way to play like this. Keep in mind that every player is different from the other, my build will disqust some of the players because I'm not much of a dodge/crit person but the others will find some of my thoughts interesting. Let me adjust it a little.
