because the system is a two controller system.. to expect devs to cater to people that have broken hardware is beyond ridiculous
You literally cannot condense the entire control scheme into one controller unless you get rid of a bunch of things. The devs cannot be held responsible for you breaking your controller and cannot be expected in a beta to redesign the interface for a tiny fraction of the userbase. What you are asking is equivelent to telling devs they should make a game so that someone whos left side of their ps4 controller is broken can still play. its not a reasonable ask.
If you wanted to make a more worthy case for something like this in the final release, at least come at it from an angle of allowing players who have lost an arm to play rather than i broke my controller...
or fix it themself.. most common issue is with trackpad which is easily fixable
What good does the warranty do you if it's broken and the warranty won't get them to fix it for you?
if it's under warranty have them fix it I had them do that with one.. the second was past warranty so I did it myself
