Payday 2 VR not running in VR mode.

I recently bought a Vive HTC VR headset, I tried to run Payday 2 on it but it would only run in theatre mode, and if I tried to run it on my laptop, it would run as normal. It doesn't show under the VR list of games in my library, and the Payday 2 VR DLC only has a play button, I don't have any mods on Payday 2, the Vive HTC VR headset is working with other VR games, what do?

Click on PAYDAY 2 in your library, scroll down until you see the small DLC box, scroll down in that box until you find the VR DLC, and then click the check box until a check mark appears.

Installing the DLC for some reason does not check it for you

Decision: Samsung HMD Odyssey. Symptoms: when turned on in VR mode (in a normal game it works fine), the game is turned off / reset. It happened either immediately or after 1-2 minutes. I noticed that if you download the game with the joysticks turned off, everything is fine. If only the left is turned on, it works until you start using controller thumbstick controls. When you turn on the right joystick (initially, or second after the left), the game immediately turned off. Found a tip here[docs.microsoft.com]. Section: "Enabling controller thumbstick controls in any SteamVR application". It works now!
