Index Controller Support?
With the index releasing this Friday and my unit arriving on the day I'm planning on revisting the VR compatibility for Payday 2 and was wondering if anyone who already has the controllers knows how well they work or if they have or are getting full support. Any answer from the devs would also be appreciated!

I was wondering how it plays with the index controller, let us know how it plays wit the index. I'm sure they will release an index update eventually.

Heya. There's a major downside. The Index controller's 'grip' is your actual grip... And it's used to initiate reload. So holding your right index controller even in a grip causes your mag to drop out while you're playing. In order to fire a weapon you have to hold the weapon controller 'palm open', which feels very weird.

Kiiinda hoping they patch this. Playing VR with non-VR players is surprisingly fun.

They really need to add custom actions to steamvr input and networked finger posed.

Does anyone know a binding setup that actually let's you finish missions? On the secod stealth (tutorial?) mission I can't exit the surveillance camera screen once I activated it. It should be right grip according to the on screen instructions, but no button works. It would also be cool being able to "spot". There are probably other non-functional controls I have yet to run into...

Sometimes it's the same button on the other controller. When I want to speed up the experience counter after a game, before choosing a card, it says press r_grip while it is the left trigger button. The standard configuration works quite well for me. I recently chose another custom binding that implements sprinting and the pause button but either it doesn't work anymore or it has been reverted (didn't check the settings so far)

Where is the device menu? All I can see in the VR settings are Interface, Gameplay, movement, arm animation, and advanced. None of those menus have a device or community layout menu, and I can't find it in the regular options menu either.

This is in your steam overlay when in VR.
