what weapons do you recommend for a dodge build?

So heres a ctrl c ctrl v from what I wrote before

Primary:
Assualt rifles: Union (needs crit+overkill)
Shotguns: Predator, Izhma(just use goliaths if you want shotguns)(need cirts+optional beserker)
LMGS: KSP light machine gun(optional beserker)
Snipers: Contracter(still insanly OP if you can aim(needs beskerker+optional crits)), rattlesnake
Akimbo Pistols: Stryk 19c(needs crit+optional beserker)
Akimbo SMG's: Krincov(needs crits+beserker)
Akimbo shotguns: goliaths(needs crits+optional beserker) and please for the love of god dont use the grimms they are trash compared to the goliaths
Speical: crossbow(if your in 2016) Microgun(needs crits+beserker)

Secondary:

Pistol: 5/7 ap(mainly used for shields) parabellum/bronco (just dont use pistols)
Submachine guns(mainly for dozers) Krincov, CR 805B
Speical: compact 40MM, comando 101, saw(only used if you have a gun like an lmg which can kill all units and want to use it)
Shotguns:Judge(HE or DB) Grimm (DB) (still insanly over powered and can stun the entire map with like 4 shots)

TLDR: KSP light machine gun, Dragon Breath grimm, and contracter are bascially the best

As for OP, I'm going to assume you're using Rogue or Hacker. Hacker is recommended, as it's pretty much superior to Rogue. Anything that you can conceal is recommended. Triple pistol setups are probably one of the most popular choices, as they're the easiest to conceal. The typical setup involves either a low damage akimbo pistols as primary and a high damage pistol as secondary, or vice versa, with a high damage akimbo pistols as primary and a low damage pistol as secondary. You'd want to rely mainly on the low damage weapon, and switch to the high damage one for specific unit killing. My current pistol setup is Akimbo Stryk 18c with the 5/7 as a secondary. The Stryks deal massive damage, and the 5/7 can deal with shields, snipers, and, when in a pinch, Bulldozers as well. As for assault rifles, typically you'd want to stick with the 40 damage and 60 damage ones. The higher damage ones are way too hard to conceal, except for the Galant Rifle. I'd particularly recommend the Clarion Rifle. It's damage needs to be supplemented with crits to be useful, but when crits are applied, it's an absolute monster. For shotguns, the Akimbo Grimms, Akimbo Goliaths, and Izhma are definitely the most popular choices. However, you should probably try out the Raven as well. For snipers, the most effective one I've found is the Contractor.

Yes, you did in fact ctrl c ctrl v from a different post. I was in that other thread. That's why the post doesn't work. And yes, LMGs work with dodge. It just isn't as effective as high concealment weapons and should be regulated to more experimental builds. Experimental builds aren't something that you should recommend to someone asking for a weapon recommendation.

Assuming you're going to do the obvious pairing of sneaky bastard + low blow, you want anything that fires rapidly and can get good concealment. Akimbos and smgs are the obvious choices-

The only weapons I haven't been able to make work -well- with dodge builds are LMGs simply because you can't get good concealment. But apart from that, I've run the vulcan with crit builds before. You have a lot of freedom in that regard.

You can mod an RPK for 24 concealment, paired up with a Bernetti9 or Gruber Kurz.
But you wouldn't want to use it on desktop, it only works in VR because our stability is 100.
In VR it works really well, in fact, it is my main DSOD build, but every time I gave it to a desktop friend, they ditched it after one try.

Huh, you're right, with silencer skills you can bring it down to 24, thanks for the tip!

On desktop, it works as an experimental sort of build. I've used it before, and honestly it's okay. But you might as well just sacrifice the 10% extra dodge chance and get yourself an LMG that doesn't spray everywhere.
