Attachments: just get under 23 concealment
For Controllers tree, get up to hostage taker somehow, either by getting one joker, or 2 jokers, just please make sure to get partners in crime aced either way, makes them into amazing bullet sponges while giving you health regen with Hostage Taker
The Sharpshooter's tree is just for snipers, Graze is amazing to clear an insane amount of enemies in a corridor
The Enforcer's skills are few but very useful in all builds. Shotgunner tree is for shotguns, pick em up if you use a shotgun, leave em if you dont use a shotgun.
For the Tank's tree, pick up resilience, basic if you're confident in not getting flashed, totally ok to take it aced if you get flashed often and dont want to wait 10 seconds for the flash to wear off. Die Hard basic for 50% damage reduction while interacting to save you while fixing a drill, ace it if you plan on using a vest, pretty nice to survive more damage dealing shots, suit still works fine, Bullseye basic, getting a headshot with this will save you more than you think as 5 armor points will still save you from any bullet no matter what (unless its a sniper's bullet), armor gating in this game is very strong on high difficulties.
For Ammo Specialist get Scavenger basic, basic is very useful for picking up ammo through certain walls, and through roofs, getting it aced is pretty pointless, theres a limit for ammo boxes on the map, and you will hit it, replacing the ammo boxes you haven't picked up yet.
Technician has usually only one skill you need for every build, Hardware Expert in Breacher, makes a 10s drill into a 7.5 second drill, Oppressor skills are for automatic weapons like AR's, and lmgs, i find Body Expertise to be a waste of points usually, but if you have trouble hitting the head like everyone does in this game, its cool to take it.
For the Ghost's tree just skip Shinobi, that stuff is for stealth, but can be useful if you pick up Sixth Sense aced for insider assets, please dont pick up Nimble in this tree, picking a safe's lock for 40 seconds in a loud heist hurts the team, you're better off spending the lock picking skills elsewhere.
Artful Dodger!, pick up duck and cover basic, ace is too expensive imo, 3 points for 10% dodge while running is a waste imo, Inner Pockets basic if you need some more concealment for crits, which is usually often, aced if you wear a vest with Die Hard aced. I'd advise against anything else in this tree, you can try Shockproof, Dire Need and Sneaky Bastard, but I find these skills not worth it at all, some people like using them though.
Silent Killer tree can be totally skipped if your really need to save points, but all of the stuff in this tree is all positives, all but Second Wind aced. This tree gives you crits and stat buffs when using silenced weapons, highly suggest this tree if you need damage, but use health to survive so you can't get Berserker.
Fugitive skills i'd just skip, Revenant's skills depend on you dying, which is usually a bad thing. The Brawler's tree however has great stuff in it, But sadly Berserker depends on low health, so thats a no with First Aid Kits, Bloodthirst works wonders with charged up high damage melee on special enemies.
I'd add a list of my favorite weapons and builds to use Sicario with, but I've already spent time on making another word salad here, sorry for all the paragraphs and sorry to the people who depend on and love Swan Song.

^ Guides from an amazing Sicario main.
For skills, you should get FAKs for aggressive play (less aggressive than Anarchist and Kingpin) and HT aced for more survivability. Die hard basic is also nice with Sicario. Do not get Sneaky Bastard as it doesn’t make much of a difference with Sicario and it’s changing dodge values.
For weapons, basically anything works. I use an overkill aced setup, 168 sniper setup and an LMG setup, so any weapon will work. To get started, you can make an LMG build with KSP or just use a build from the guides I included above from Yokai.
And especially for Sicario, don’t rely on dodge. The values always change and you should still play safe (assuming you’re playing on DS).
