- DMR kit
- bigger the better suppressor
- accuracy boost
- scope mount
- lightweight rail
- LED combo
- AK wood grip
- AK quadstacked mag
- sight of choice
- classic stock
I'd normally take a speedpull mag over a quadstack (and swap the accuracy boost for stability), but considering the DMR kit's affect on ammo, there's not much point.
Once you add Ghost/Silent Killer/The Professional (ace), stats are:
- magazine 60
- total ammo 63
- rate of fire 561
- damage 167 (assuming your perk deck is at least 8/9)
- accuracy 96
- stability 100
- concealment 0
- threat 0
- reload time 3.9
Are you a killer (run around) or camper (more defensive)?
Probably a more versatile option:
- modern barrel
- bigger the better suppressor
- accuracy boost
- scope mount
- lightweight rail
- LED combo
- aluminium grip
- speedpull mag
- sight of choice
- classic stock
Again, with Ghost/Silent Killer/The Professional (ace), stats are:
- magazine 30
- total ammo 90
- rate of fire 561
- damage 102.9 (assuming your perk deck is at least 8/9)
- accuracy 96
- stability 96
- concealment 1
- threat 0
- reload time 1.9
I'll leave the high-concealment option to Sephrajin (be sure to check out his excellent builds guide), but my experience is that the medium concealment and low rate of fire, mean that there are better options (assuming a crit build).
PS FWIW "there are better options", is my overall opinion of this weapon; which isn't to say it's unusable and you shouldn't use it, if you want to.
And good for you: it's a game after all and if you enjoy what you're doing, that's good enough!
Well, I love crit builds, so here we go:
https://pd2builder.netlify.app/?s=1G0-6e110-53U00145U000150&p=e&a=0&t=1&d=3
Armor: Suit
Deck: Anarchist
As secondary I've chosen the 5/7 AP Pistol, as usualy my most prefered 2nd :)
As for the AK (.762):
* Barrel: -> Modern
* Barrel Ext: -> Stubby
* Foregrip: -> Lightweight
* Gadget: LED Combo
* Grip: -> AK Rubber
* Magazin: -> Speed Pull
* Stock: -> Skeletal (for 762) / Contractor (for regular AK)
This results in: (762 / normal ak)
Accuracy: 72 / 60
Stabillity: 80 / 100
Dmg: 105 / 62
Detection rate: 23
Crit Chance: 30% + 35% for 18s when not taken dmg for 4s (65% crit at best)
Dmg bonus: +60% when shooting from a distance of 10m or more on marked enemys (specials)
Hope this helps
PS:
I would recomend the regular AK due to better ammo pickup because of 60 dmg, rather than 105 dmg which will have a worse ammo pickup!
But in the end, pick whatever suits you best! :)
EDIT:
Since @meh has referd to it, here's that guide / overview he talked about:
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=1936119418
and i guess i can cycle through the both of them and see which one is better for which scenario(s)
Where did I mention dodge?
Low detection (by its own) is not equal to dodge!
(Though dodge benefits from low detection when using sneaky bastard)
is there any benefit to low detection in loud besides dodge?
