So yeah, you will be running around in a suit with around 300 armor.
Honestly thought... unless you play VERY conservatively, you'll most likely never be at 100% armor anyway so the LBV is kind of redundant unless you really need the armor. Better get that suit for the best armor gating possible.
Or if you're lazy...
Suit: 10 armor / 2sec.
LBV: 15 armor / 3sec.
The reason why you go suit over LBV, is that the armor amount is irrelevant since you should only be interested in armorgating.
