[Shotgun] High Explosive rounds versus Dragon's Breath?
Hey guys!

I would like to ask your opinion on High Explosive rounds versus Dragon's Breath.
My build uses a silenced Breaker with concealment boost, and uses a silenced Judge with HE rounds (high concealment, silencer skills, crit build). I've been using it a lot even on OD, but I've heard that Dragon's breath would be better. So I would like to hear your opinion, whether HE or DB goes better with the Judge and why.

Dragon Breath all the way. HE's lost it's identity since dozers can no longer be stunned.

A shotgun with dragons breath can't be sileced

True, but I still get 4 Detection Risk with DB Judge.

Yeah i forgot to add that I already put a concealment boost on it.
And basically 4 DR is good. I use it for loud, and Sneaky Bastard & Low Blow basic reach their peak performance at 4 DR, right?

I think yes but if its on 3 DR the difrence is minimal

There's no difference as long as it's below 5.

Dragon Breath still deals damage mostly through afterburn damage, so whether it has silencer or not is really negligible.

And the dragonsbreath is the best crowd control ammo much better than HE on Ovk+

Judge HE all the way. More reliable method of killing OD shields, can melt dozer faceplates and has incredible dps in a pinch (swan song). It's great for crowd control as well, especially if enemies are all bunched up together, that's when you do maximum damage.

Well, none of them can do Headshots sooooo.
000 Buckshot FTW

HE for me, they might not stun as well as DB, but they take care of Dozer faceplates (something regular shotguns have a hard time doing), Captain Winters, and Turrets effectively

DB also works better with a faster firing shottie like the Goliath/Street Sweeper

HE = Killing Cpt.Winter and Taking the Dozer's Mask off Faster.
Dragon Breath = Dealing ~720 Damage every shot when you have crit.

Old Thread Ik, but you guys don't know that HE rounds can go through walls right?

I didn't know either and now I use them way more than Dragon's Breath because I don't even need to aim at all just spam and I'll end up killing enemies that I can't even see.
