[help] Convert .dds files to .texture files
Sorry if I posted in the wrong place, I'm new to the forums. I want to replace the current texture of Clover's face and hair with my own tweak (of someone else's texture), I have converted the .texture files to .dds with this tool (http://www.mwgfx.co.uk/programs/dxtbmp.htm) and it gives me the option to save as either: dds texture, extended bitmap, targa with alpha, 24bit BMP image, ACE DXT1 Texture, Creative Assembly Texture, Infinity Ward image. I went with Creative Assembly texture since it's the only one with (.texture) as the extension but then I get 3 options DXT1, DXT5, 32 bit. I've tried all 3 and none of them work. What texture file is it supposed to be? And how can I convert the .dds file to .texture file?
If anyone can convert it themselves, here are the files:
blonde clover hair: {LINK REMOVED}
new clover face: {LINK REMOVED}

Well, you juste have to rename the extension of the file ^^

Yeah, don't use a converter for it, just changed the extension from ".texture" to ".dds", and back when you finish.
Smartest thing to do, would be changing the extension to ".texture.dds", that way, when you go to "save as", the computer will already have it set to save it as a ".texture", rather than a ".dds".

If you want to bulk change the texture extensions.
Hold shift and right click in the folder w/ the files
"Open command window here"
then type
ren *.texture *.texture.dds
Any .texture files within the folder will be changed.
