menu backgrounds not working

menu backgrounds worked for a while and then just stopped working. it doesnt show up in mod options and im stuck on the default background. i also realized when menu backgrounds is enabled, the other mods disappear from menu backgrounds but at least they work. im on the latest version of all of my mods, including superblt

I had the same problem, but after messing around with it for like half an hour I got it to work.
Make sure in your mods folder you're not using the 17160-Menu Backgrounds@6.1.2 or 14924-BeardLib@4.88 folders, but instead the BeardLib and Menu Backgrounds folders inside of them.
