WTF happend to last bullet

I was taking a short break from payday 2 and when i returned the name is now mod workshop aj has left the team and the last bullet youtube changed to project safehouse and the cherry on top is that some of my favorite mods (better bots) are gone.
Can someone explain the story of what happend here

NGBTO users felt insulted by the author of Better Bots. He forced all bots to use the crying baby masks if NGBTO was used at the same time. The author of Better Bots was contacted but he chose to behave highly inappropriate. As a result the mod has not been set back to be publiclly available. If you wish to see it back then I invite you to contact the author of Better Bots.

Incorrect.

There was a new rule added to the website, making parts of mods that intentionally conflict or do things to other mods no longer allowed. Some of the mods where this applied, i.e. some weapon mods, complied and removed the code.

What the Better Bots "creator" did, instead, was have a temper tantrum in the website shoutbox, and refused to remove the code. So the website took down his mod.

Not they kicked aj out of last bullet and overkill is not happy about it from what I have heard. And I don't understand how you can even kick out one of the major creators of last bullet. I believe him and zero are going to be doing their own thing called the safehouse soon for mods and whatnot.

The website is going down the crapper now, and I could care less, they have ruined it by kicking people out and making stupid rules. That's why paydaymods is the better alternative to upload mods.

You can get BB through PaydayMods using the link in BB's thread in the Modding subforum. I haven't set it to being publically available on PDM yet but that's in the works. PDM's better anyway, no modder circlejerks going on there. I'll be uploading my stuff on AJValentine's new site when that gets up and moving, but I talked to him and it seems like that's a while off.

I don't see how the fact that kicking someone from management automatically means it is 'ruined', especially when you don't know what the management was like. Also, do you want to give some examples of these 'stupid' rules you speak of?

You mean the rule created to prevent modders from intentionally griefing other mods? What if I was to make all my mods randomly cause yours to crash? I'm sure you wouldn't be too happy about that and would want it removed. I doubt you would still be saying it was stupid if it wasn't affecting you. lIt was only created now because this is the first case of anything like this happening on the site. We didn't think of the situation where a modder would go 'that low'.

not really a good thing to not willing to communicate "with" eachother but rather talking "against" and about eachother making accusations in front of others who aren't involved and have no clue about your motivations. If there was no common ground left it's only reasonable to split up, right? I can't see why this has to be a matter of public discussion. If your mods are interfering with eachother you are using them to fight a personal battle. Does this serve to close the gaps the mods are supposed to fill up in the interest of providing a better gaming experience or is it to serve the purpose of weaponized "communication" to push for max penis lenght?.
The player loses, that much is clear. A parent would say: Get yourselves together and work it out. Sometimes they might just be right....

Good thing that there was only one idiot who actually made a mod that intentionally messed up gameplay if you used another mod (spoiler: that wasn't me). I'm sure the new rule couldn't have possibly been made just because a bunch of mediocre modders whined about it.
