Renderer_settings.xml

- Make sure your system shows hidden files and folders.
- Go to this folder(default location): C:\Users\USERNAME\AppData\Local\PAYDAY 2
- Now open the file "renderer_settings.xml" with a text-editor.
- Look for "resolution" , "refresh-rate" and "aspect-ratio" and make sure these values match your monitor's native settings.

For example, I have a 16:9 monitor running in 1920x1080 @ 60Hz, so my values look like this:
aspect_ratio="1.77778" refresh_rate="60" resolution="1920 1080"
To get the right value for your aspect-ratio, simple divide your resolution's width by the height. In this example 1920/1080=1.77778 (round to five decimal places).

After this, save & exit the file and start Payday 2.

Harmonica, thank you very much with this issue. Your solution solved the problem and quite easly at that. Your discription process in this solution was very clear and easy to follow. I am still very amature at this point on my PC and appreciate the clarity of your comment. Again, thank you very much.
