Rats: Day 3: The C4 on the bus cannot be defused.

(Thought this was posted before, but I couldn't find it. Figured I might as well throw it up here, even though I think it's already well known.)


BUG:
The C4 on the bus during the Rats (Day 3) mission are unable to be defused.

SEV: 1
PRI: 2


REPRO STEPS:
1. Load into Payday 2 with all DLC unlocked.
2. Start the Rats mission.
3. Progress normally until Day 3.
4. On Day 3, clear the bus and approach the briefcases.
5. Open a briefcase and remove the money bag.
6. Attempt to defuse the C4 once it is activated.

ACTUAL RESULTS:
After removing money from a briefcase on the bus, the C4 actives and cannot be deactivated by the player.

EXPECTED RESULTS:
Once the money is removed from a briefcase and the C4 is armed, the player is able to defuse the C4 within a time limit.

REPRO RATE:
12/12

ADDITIONAL NOTES:
Occurs in Offline and Online mode.
Occurs with both Host and non Hosts in Online mode.
12/12 on PC.
Seemed to begin after or around the release of the Gage Sniper pack.

just throwing it out there just for a small chance that it could be ur problem since i couldnt find any mention of it but. if the intel of day 2 is burned than it cant be defused but the intel = codes for defusal. so in ur retrials for your reproduction of the bug was the intel obtained?

What do you mean with

Did you get the info on day 2 or not?
If not, afaik you cant defuse the C4.
If you got it, nevermind my comment.

Actually, I didn't know that, so this report isn't completely correct. However, I'd say 4 or 5 times I did get the intel, and I haven't been able to defuse them then. I'll try a few other times tomorrow, and will update then.

What a well written out bug report with a human error solution.

Intel is manditory for difuse. This pick up glitch often occurs while modding or due to a corrupt/unverified file, as well as the obvious mistake.

Just happen to me and my crew (3 other player). Open the briefcase, could set off the C4, the whole team explode in 2 seconds. Pro Rats contract bought by myself, direct return to lobby with all the money spend on contract and bonus + time lost, the crew frustrate, me, furious ... Thank you for this wonderful bug ! After a check on google this bug was already there since at least september 2013... Congrats...
