Keyboard randomly gets stuck
My system specs easily nail Crysis, so I know they aren't the problem. The framerate on this game is fine - I have a 120 fps limiter turned on at the highest settings and it never stutters.

But every once in a while, both online and offline, I'm running into situations where my character will simply refuse to respond to keyboard commands for half a minute or more. During such situations, my mouse works fine - I can aim and shoot perfectly well. But my character just won't move/reload/shout/etc. Sometimes, if I keep mashing the keys, my character will start to move haphazardly just a little bit (as though my keystrokes were delayed), but it still takes half a minute or more before full motion control gets restored.

Obviously, this is pretty dangerous - if I can't move, I'm a sitting duck. I've had 2 online heists ruined because of this.

I googled the issue and someone suggested setting "multicore rendering" to "false" in one of the settings files. Tried it, didn't help.

If it matters, I'm using a Logitech MK550 wireless keyboard, whereas my mouse is wired. I tried changing my keyboard batteries and that didn't help. I don't have a spare wired keyboard to test on, so I can't confirm if my keyboard is the issue. Maybe next week I'll install it on my laptop and see if the problem can be reproduced.

Anyone else have this problem? If so, are you using a wired or wireless keyboard?

This happened to me yesterday and I'm playing on a laptop. Never had this problem before and I've been playing since the beta.

This exact issue just started happening to me as well. Both KB and mouse are wired for me though. Has anyone found a solution?

Totally forgot about this issue... anyway I am now using a Logitech G105 wired keyboard and the issue has not come back.

I had a similar issue in Batman Arkham Asylum though with this wired keyboard, and solved it by disabling the Ctrl+Space shortcut that switches your keyboard's language (I frequently type in languages other than English, and if the language is changed during a game it can mess with the input).

Hrm, yeah seems like my issue might be different then as my KB is wired, thanks for replying though!

Just a quick question do you have at a point tabbed out of game and send lets say a text message to one of your firends on steam and so tabbed back into the game? (know it somethimes if you do that movement ingame can freeze and not work, due to steam overlay is "open" but not vissible)

No, i've tried just starting the game, hosting a game with just myself and running around to test and within 30-60 sec it usually happens at least once. This is without doing any other kind of interaction. This only started happening just yesterday as well, nothing really new on my machine besides a GPU driver update which i reverted

EDIT: Here's the detailed post i made on what i've done: http://steamcommunity.com/app/218620/discussions/14/618463446160553323/

Necro'd from Google because this is the only thread I've seen that mirrors the issue I'm currently having with a wireless Logitech keyboard..

I've tried 3 different wireless keyboards and each one between 30-120 seconds my keyboard stops accepting input and I have to switch it off then back on again...
Has there been any confirmed fix for this?

Unfortunately wireless keyboard users are a minority of PC gamers so it's unlikely that the devs would care :( To date though this remains the one and only game where I've encountered any real problem using a wireless keyboard.

On a side note I might get a wireless keyboard again after all these years so I can do KB/M gaming on the couch... any recommendations?
