Crossfire problem/ Payday2 use AMD integrated CPU instead of AMD Dedicated GPU
Hi guys, i have crossfire problem on this game, older threads is for intel integrated and NVIDIA/AMD card as dedicated, but this time, it's AMD integrated R6 (APU) and R5 M230 (GPU).
AMD always crossfired every game that support crossfire and render them with both GPU. But in some games, expecially Payday2, the GPU doesn't crossfire and only rely on APU.
Any help? CCC is Crimson and the guide for AMD before can't applicable here since the step 3 is missing in this CCC control panel (can't choose power > Switchable Graphics Method).
Any idea?

I'm not really sure how much help I can be here. Even though I have an AMD card myself, I don't have crossfire. Hm. Let me see if I can find a way to disable crossfire. Or force it to be disabled for specific games.

i actually can run this game on crossfire, but somehow it doesn't help APU that much.
if it is disabled, the game will automatically use "R6 integrated graphic" as it was in primary GPU in both CCC and DXDIAG
The R5 M230 should assist him, however, seems not running properly.
Maybe some tweaks to do it?

Hm. What happens if you manually disable the APU through device manager?

Hm. Let's see if we can fix that with the APU completely disabled:

Normally this problem is because of a mis-matching screen resolution and refresh rate. Between the game and your monitor.

https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/kb/311403

Use that to check what your monitor refresh rate is (60 MHz is 60 fps) and your resolution size.

And then apply that to your renderer_settings.xml file.

You might also be having a rare issue with an internal graphics card:

Also, please verify game cache:

For good measure.

If APU is disabled, i can't rven access my screen setting
You mean you get a total blackscreen, and not just for the game?

YES

Hmm, i applied the settings and actually crossfire is on, but still lag as it is only APU mode...
I write 60hz in .xml
Already do high performance mode i ccc
And same result
Whatever, i guess i could stay at 22 fps, meanwhile locked in 30 fps T_T
