I can't mark, shout, or intimidate while up.

If I get downed, I CAN do those things, but not when I'm up. I can mark guards in casing, but as soon as I put on my mask, I can't mark enemies, shout to my teammates, or intimidate law enforcers.

There is a mod called simple functions or something to that effect. Remove it if you have it.

Otherwise, disable the part of the HUDMod that enables "press F" to become "hold F" automatically.

"Push-2-Hold : As the name implies, whether you are masking, or pulling a lever, or dropping an equipment or answering the pager, you will only need to press once."

Thank you. But I have a friend with the same problem and he doesn't have any mods except simple texture mods. Would you be able to help with that?

That's fine too, but I practically guarantee it is some mod/mod file doing this. I'd ask them to make sure that all mod files are completely removed (including their texture files, though I doubt they are what are causing the issue, I would guess it is some left over files somewhere causing this problem).

I only bite people who are excessively rude to me or Atomic, or cheat. I promise .

Probably the best thing to do would be to have them compare their PD2 steam folder to yours via screenshots, and see what files you both share/don't share and work from there.

I would start with HUDMods or QoL mods. Just so you know.

Got it . I was an idiot and downloaded two different HUDMods that do the exact same thing. As for my friend, he just took his mods out and put them back in and I guess that worked.
