Report a translation problem
There are a few programs that have been reported as causing issues when installed alongside PAYDAY 2, if you are using any of them and you are experiencing performance issues or crashes you might want to consider any alternatives. We would like to point out that we have not confirmed these issues but we have seen reports about these or issues that no longer appeared once the program was no longer running.

Avira Antivirus (Add Payday 2 and it's installation folder to the exceptions)

Also do u run anymods?
delete them (IPHLPAPI.dll,hoxhud(because of unstable(delete the Hoxhud.ddl & the Hoxhud folder)), mod_overrides and mods folder,also pdmod bundler if u are using it) if u dont have it - still delete these things

Game starts with Black Bars / Black Screen / Game does not start
If the render settings did not get set correctly, the game may start with an number of different issues like black bars or a black screen. To fix this you need to set the resolution manually.
Press the Windows Key + R, a new window will appear
Type in %localappdata% and press OK
Open the PAYDAY 2 folder
Find the files render_setting.xml right click and choose open with notepad.
Press Ctrl + F
Search for resolution
Set the values associated with resolution and refresh rate to the appropriate values for your monitor.
I´ll see if I / Melons have similar issues with it. If yes, we´ll ask Tobais to add it to the list.

But if you can´t run the game while having this software installed, you´d have to uninstall it if you wish to play.
Are you certain this is indeed the program which causes your game to not start?
And have you already tried to reinstall it / to ask their developer about the issue?
