Black bars on side in 3440x1440
I just got an ultra wide monitor and if i set my resolution to 3440x1440 my native resolution i get big black bars on the side. But if i set it to 2560x1440 the black bars go away and my full screen is in use.

How can i make payday 2 use my native resolution of 3440x1440?

Is it like that in game? or just in the menu? the menu doesn't seem to like any res that isn't 16:9. I use 2296 x 1440 (monitor res is 2560 x 1440) and i get black bars on the top and bottom in the menu, but in game it's full screen.

i run on the same res but this isnt an issue in game.
I'll have to check. Cause i was using 3840x2160 then bought this ultra wide and when i started the game up the main menu was off screen had to go into windows change it to 1920x1080 just to see the menu to change resolution.

I have an ultrawide too, only the menus are screwed up.

Yes me too. I play on 3440x1440p 21:9 in 100Hz.

If you want your game to run smoothly you have to edit the renderer_settings.xml.

I don't see that in the payday 2 folder.

If it's okay to ask, why switch to 3440x1440 resolution when you had 3840x2160 4k resolution? Is not ultra wide 4k better? Or is it about the inch size monitor?
Planning to buy new one as well, Thx to know, hope you will fix the issue.

Cause my new ultra wide don't support 4k. I was using a lg 50 inch tv as my monitor and my wife bought me this one which don't support 4k.
