Instant Cash Cap Too Low
Right now instant caps caps at $2,800,000, In most cases this is enough but on 2 distinct jobs I notice it is not. $3,200,000 would be enough for First World Bank and Big Oil but not San Martin Bank, this would require $4,200,000 cap and it may not account for the best RNG,

I used to think this is mostly due to ATMs and the Mayhem+ difficulties, however San Martin proves it's not just the ATMs.

With the Chameleon skill aced you get +30% instant cash. Making ATMs on Mayhem worth $390,000.

First world bank has 7 ATMs worth $2,730,000 instant cash and also a Titan safe at the end worth $338,000, as well as a few bundles of loose cash in the vault. This totals over $3,068,000 instant cash, meaning over $268,000 isn't accounted for.

Big Oil also has this problem where day 1 has 8 ATMs worth $3,120,000 as well as some Jewlery on Day 2 in the Inventors house. This leaves over $320,000 not accounted for.

San Martin Bank also has this issue. With 90 deposit boxes sealed at the cash cap. They contain either $0, $5,850, $9,750, $13,650, $19,500 or $39,000. Assuming all 6 are equal puts it at $14,625 per box. Times 90 boxes is $1,316,250. This comes out At ~$4.11Mil so a cap of $4,200,000 would be substantial for this one.

I'm not sure what you mean. Instant cash is the non baggable loot on a map. As far as I'm aware both Offshore and Spending Cash don't have limits and as long as you keep heisting you can get more.

I wouldn't want to start a new thread just to report the same issue, however I also ran into it in San Martin Bank to a far greater extreme. The top post has been updated to include more details.

Yeah, but... WHY do you even want more money in the game?!

More Money -> Bigger numbers.

Plus it kind of sucks that the game about robbing is encouraging you to leave stuff behind, that's a bit backwards. If you want to take everything you should be rewarded.

You got paid from the contractor, not directly from taken loot.

Each contract has it's base payout but instant cash does in fact add onto the total pay out as does bags secured. So you do get paid for that stuff but there isn't enough capacity for it on some maps.

- Big bank can also exceed instant cash cap if ATM is lockpicked and all loot collected.
- Mallcrasher has 8 ATM's, which can be opened with a saw even in stealth
- Transport: Crossroads also has a bunch of ATM's, but I don't remember the exact number
Also, It's worth mentioning +3% money and XP from team boost.

That was a joke. Probably to not let you farm more money from specific heists, not sure....

The problem with that is if you're cheating you cheat with bag loot as it gives XP where instant cash only gives cash. The bag loot cap is much higher due to infinite bag heists, so cheaters will fill that anyway on any heist. Raising the instant cash cap has no effect on this.
