This seems to happen with this and other software for people sometimes. It's frustrating for people when different steps are needed for different people. Uninstalling seems to help a fix stick properly sometimes.
Had same problem, worked - thank you :)
Hi guys, after hours of frustratingly trying everything on the web for 2 days straight I've FINALLY fixed mine. downloaded the Microsoft Visual C++ 2013 both x64 and x86 for the third time, instead of clicking repair this time I clicked uninstall for both, and then by clicking the same setup files again I clicked install for both (basically uninstalling and reinstalling, not the repair function).
Hope this helps.
