I can confirm this bug. I didn't installed any mods. After the update when i try to melee cop my game crashes. This problem only occuring on melee for me though, and yes it was working fine earlier before update.

(p.s) my game crashed almost 7-8 times so i had enough for now.
I have the same problem, it crash when i kill with melee. Here's my crash.txt

I got the same problem but the game does not make a crash log on my PD2 folder.
It just crashes, and stop working. There is no pop up window that says "PD2.exe stopped working", the game just frozes for like 3 seconds and it drops me to the desktop, and after around 5-10 seconds the game actually stops working, until that my profile pic icon has a green outline that says im in game. What's this about?

Yes, BUT; i think it's somehow hardware related.
On my crappy laptop i get the crash, on my desktop, nothing.

PAYDAY 2 Crashes upon killing an ENEMY unit with a MELEE WEAPON
I've used the Katana, Ice Pick, and the Electrical Brass Knuckles. So I was forced to remove the key binding for Melee to prevent it from triggering the event of crashing.:steamfacepalm:
