[Bug] Windowed or Fullscreen, can't change monitor used

Specs:

* Ubuntu 17.10 x64, XFCE4 + Compiz
* i7-980x
* nVidia 980 GTX + 384.90
* 3x1920x1080 monitors (all landscape)
* FRESH install of Payday 2 (no previous configs, etc, should have been present before installing the Ult Ed)

In my environment I have the Centre monitor explicitly declare as the main monitor. This is the monitor applications SHOULD launch on by default, but this game ignores that setting, and launches on the left one.

I'm running in Windowed mode, and I can't get my mouse outside of the game (alt+tab doesn't ever work). As such I can't drag the window to the monitor I want to use on (it has 120hz too btw).

When I go Fullscreen, it only registers "Monitor 1", which is the left one, and doesn't see the other two.

Not only that, there is no borderless option.

Come the ♥♥♥♥ on guys, this game has been out how long, with continual development, and this kind of♥♥♥♥♥♥is still going on? I just bought the Ultimate Edition last night (in addition to the original release version and a bunch of DLC over the years) because it's a fair deal, and I want to support further development. But how about we get this fixed once and for all already. I can't even play the game in its current state, and this is unacceptable.

If need be, I can work with the devs on any beta versions that may address this. I just want to get back into the game, and help get this sorted already.

1. We should be able to alt tab out of the game, at least in some way or another.
2. WE NEED BUILT-IN WINDOWED+BORDERLESS ALREADY.
3. I can't change the monitor the game is on no matter what, even in Fullscreen.
4. Apple Pie is delicious.
5. Hoxton is my preference.

Please, let's work together to get this solved? :)

1. You can, but since you're on Linux, I cannot tell the problem since this does not occur on Windows build.
2. Borderless Gaming existed for game without borderless option. (and yes, there's free version if you are poor enough) Don't want to install? How about working with Overkill instead of command them for it?
3. You can in fullscreen, but still, does not occur in Windows Build.

So many games have borderless windowed already. I don't want to pay more money to get a feature that should already be in the game. Barf.

And I HAVE been trying to work WITH them, hence this thread...

There's instruction about how to use ut, why not take a search?

Can't believe I didn't think to try this earlier, but I was able to gain mouse control back by opening up the steam overlay, so then you can drag the window to your main monitor. Still not really a "fix" but a decent enough workaround for the game to be playable now.
