However it does look smart and if they pull it off it might be a decent play.
Devs already said, converting Payday TH heists to Payday 2 won't work as they'll have to rebuild the whole map from scratch.

At best, Hardline's Heist Mode may play out kinda like Payday: The Heist, where it's just guns blazing to get in, get into the vault, and then get out. It would be cool if you could either play this mode, or others, against bots for a co-op experence, but if done right, PvP on a mode like this could be pretty fun.
I am looking forward to seeing and hearing more about it at E3.
