PAYDAY 2

Payday 2 Tips and Tricks Xbox 360 users.
This thread is for the growing amount of new users I am seeing on Xbox Live as of late.
We all know that the game told you to come here for a community of Payday 2 gamers, and there is a lack of a productive community here for us all.
I am hoping with this thread that will change.

For any newcomers, feel free to ask any questions here, there are many very talented gamers here that would be happy to throw some advice your way.

I will be posting some of my strategies, some tips, screenshots, video walkthroughs, and a few tricks from time to time. It would be nice to see the other Xbox users do the same.
Not one mention of outside pages that reflect any negative vibes that will deter new users from joining this community please.....there is another thread for that that you may also want to view for community views on our update (or lack of) system.

PLEASE KEEP THIS THREAD CLEAN

I am starting with my personal Skill Tree and Weapon setup for my opinion of the perfect Ghost.

In the skill tree there are 6 tiers, in my tiers here this is the legend....
not owned = --
Owned = O
Aced = A

THIS IS A LEVEL 100 BUILD, which means you will want to work your way up to it, you must have all skill points available on Xbox to achieve this tree.

Please keep in mind that some features on Xbox are not the same on other devices.......

Primary Weapon = Car-4 rifle
Attachments = Stealth Barrel, Aftermarket Special foregrip, Assault Light, Ergo grip, Vintage mag, Surgeon sight, Tactical Stock, and Exotique Upper Reciever.

Secondary Weapon = Compact 5 SMG
Attachments = The ninja, assault light, and Bare Essentials stock.

Equipment = ECM Jammers, maxed out, easily the most powerful weapon in the Ghost, and possibly any, arsenal. My reasoning here is because in just about every mission you can purchase medpacks and ammo bags. You will not need Shape Chargers, that defeats the whole Stealth idea, as does the sentry gun....and with this setup, you will not need them.

Armor for stealth = 2 piece suit
Armor for Watchdogs = heaviest you have.

With this setup there is no bank hiest, jewelry store, or mission besides Watchdogs, Mallcrasher, or Rats that I cannot finish without firing even one bullet. It will take roughly 1 hour and 15 minutes to fully stealth and wipe clean even the Pro Job Overkill difficulty bank heists....solo. 45 minutes on same difficulty Framing Frame, 3 minutes same difficulty for the Tiara, about 25 minutes for Big Oil ( TIP, day one of Big Oil...from a distance take out only the person, or 2 people on occasion, in the garage, and the one or 2 on the balcony. Immediately place the ECM jammer and activate the pain...this will render EVERY person in the house harmless. You can simply run through each floor and grab all intel as they clutch their ears and scream ).

I hope this thread ultimately helps any newcomers find answers for any Xbox related questions, chat, or finding that special member of your crew that will get you the ultimate Payday.

If you ever wish to join in any missions to see how I work my skills, feel free to put in your Live gamertag and I will gladly message you in game.

Again, please keep this threads' posts to the appropriate description. Failure to comply, i/e spamming anti OK pages, thoughts, or any negative behavior will result in a flagged comment....as I stated before, there is a thread for those discussions, and I do recommend you take a look there as well if you are new here.

Thank you all, and Happy Heisting fellow criminals.

I'm usually specced as a technician/enforcer, but when I was doing stealth stuff, I kept the enforcer stuff for the saw. Coupling that with two ECM jammers gets you in and out of most places quickly, and without the alarm being raised - although, not in complete stealth since everyone hears the saw going off.

This brings up a great point!!! Thank you for your input :)
The Bank Heists, if stealthed properly will allow for MUCH fast time frame using the Saw to open all safety deposit boxes....quite possibly cutting (no pun intended) my time in half because I pick each lock.

It's generally a good idea to have an at least partially-dedicated crew for the game. If you don't have any friends who play payday, go into some random lobbies and try to make some! It's also best if it's not a crew made entirely of Enforcers or entirely of Ghosts and such. There's 4 skill trees for a reason, after all. Personally, my crew setup is:

1. Mastermind/Technician hybrid (me)
2. Enforcer/Technician hybrid
3. Ghost/Mastermind hybrid
4. Support (such a great, describing term, ain't it?)

My build is mostly Mastermind, with skills like inside man, dominate, and joker. But above all, I made sure to get Inspire so I can revive my crew just by yelling at them (Something I'm already quite good at >.>). Technician is for trip mines and C4, since no one else had them.

My Enforcer is, well, just that. Took all the shotgun and damage reduction perks, and used Technician for thinks like bulletproof, shockproof, etc. just so he could tank better. Bulldozers beware! He carries our over-stuffed ammo bag.

Our Ghost is mostly pure Ghost, though with some Mastermind skills to aid me in capturing and converting guards. Keeps his weapons silenced, his visibility low, and his speed high. Rarely keeps his mouth shut, though :) Tends to carry ECM jammer, as a Ghost should.

And then that support role I mentioned... It's a bit of an odd build, but it's been working for us. Takes some skills form each tree, though most prominently Mastermind, since he carries our doctor bags. Usually has a M308 supplemented by an SMG, silenced or unsilenced on both accounts dependent on the job.

With this set up, there isn't much we can't handle. We have basically 2 modes of function: Plan A, or Plan B.

Plan A is stealth, our go-to. The Ghost and I slip in, dominate or kill guards, answer their pagers, and bag the corpses for hiding. Support takes up what he deems to be the best position for him to take out any issues and have one of us bag the corpse. And our Enforcer, being as inconspicuous as a hippo in a hen house, mans Camera feeds when available. When not, he usually shadows me or the Ghost to add to the intimidation factor and make guards more likely to surrender. And if something goes wrong...

Plan B: Screw these guys. Enforcer takes a frontal position for the incoming Police, Support takes up a position nearby, usually behind cover, to take their heads off, while Ghost and I alternate between giving additional firepower up front and maintaining side entrances. When needed, my trip mines cover a door we can't, and my C4 blows the way open for to get us out quickly before any more harm comes to the crew.

While not every crew needs to follow this setup, it serves as an example of a crew that works well together. Especially because in here, everyone knows their roles, which is the most important part of setting up your crew. Make sure everyone knows their job! And be ready to prune out some of the more egotistical players who think they can handle it all on their own, and try to do everyone's job. You're in a team, you work as a team. Remember that!

I would pay good money for this DLC if it was a thing. I want to rob banks while wearing nothing but a med bag and a smile.

I would agree with this. With just a level 60 build, I could solo stealth every stealthable job on proverkill and loot everything. I would bet money, if the Armored Transport DLC was added with the 360's current version, I could completely empty Train Heist of all 50 ammo bag.
