But seeing the lack of messages i'm guessing no one has the same problem
I could be wrong, but isn't the PS3 version of Payday 2 now 1.04? Are you somehow missing an update?
P.S.
I had a friend who was having some problems, kinda like this, but he was having just loading problems in general. He was, at the time, playing his physical disk copy of the game. He then went on to download the free PS+ digital copy and had no problems with the game. Not sure if Europe had the same free PS+ game given out, but just a suggestion.
Hey NAps,
Yea it is the ps+ version that i'm having troubles with.. I lent my disc to a friend so we could play together, so idk if the same problem occurs with that version.. it didnt before the update..
And about the update, the european and digital version is 1.03.. almir posted that as well somewhere here in the console community
I only ask because I have read a few other places (think it might have been the gamefaqs forums) of someone having some odd problems after switching from the physical to the digital. He claimed he fixed the problem by deleting his save and starting a new one. Now, I wouldn't suggest just deleting the save, but maybe you could get the disk copy back and see if you can connect while playing off the disk. If you connect no problems with the disk, then I would suggest either backing up your save and starting a new temp one to try it or if you have the means, using another storage device to make a new save file, then try connecting with the digital copy.
Not sure if any of this would work, but it's about the only thing I can suggest since this problem seems extremely rare.
Edit
Nevermind, after re-reading, the problem started with the update. You could still try my suggestions if you think they might work. Guess as long as you backup your save, you shouldn't have anything to worry about.
Question to anyone on PS3 who may have started a save on the disk then switching to digital, any of you experence any problems such as this since the update?
but idk if it will work tho cuz the dgital and disc version both have different game ID's so they wont read each others save data..
When i started with the digital one, i had to start completely over from scratch..
So i doubt that switching between disc and digital version had anything to do with it.
But i will most definitely try it out..
And if i'm never going to be able to fix then f*** it.. that heist doesn't pay much anyways
I do know some games do that though. I rented Dark Souls a while back, just to see what all the fuss was about. Microsoft gave it out as part of their Games with Gold promotion, my save doesn't work on the digital copy.
I am with you though, if you had to start new when you switched to the digital copy, then I doubt the save file is the problem.
I tried the disc version again and it worked fine. I asked pDude what version he has, since he's experiencing the same issue, and he said he's using the European digital version too.
So my only explanation is that the issue is the European digital..
I hope somebody from Overkill or 505 is reading this so they can fix this! (probably not tho :P)
