You should buy it on PC.
Faster, more frequent updates.
Payday 2 is always on Steam sales.
A lot more content here.
Quick bugfixes. At least, for DLCs stuff.
And, we have mods. Some of them can cause CTD, but still.

As a console player, I would go pc if I could run it. For every reason Slowpork listed as well as much more active community. Plus on the consoles voicechat is not supported as of yet.

Payday 2 is somewhat bad without mods, because OVK's design and updating decisions suck major balls. So yeah, Payday 2 on console sucks!

Meh, Payday 2 vanilla looks fine to me.

I never even thought about modding Payday 2 except maybe for Hoxhud. Try running the PC version of Payday 2 DEMO first and see if your computer can handle it. If it can, get it. Otherwise, get the console edition, but only for the next gen consoles. Crimewave edition is the only console supported right now.

pc just has the most features and is updated alot. mods are cool especially hoxhud but hoxhud crashes ALOT. and im not the only one who has that problem

Definitely buy it on the PC.

The PC version has far more features, it supports Keyboard+Mouse and a Controller (console only supports controller), the game looks better, you get updates immediately, you can text chat, and you can mod your game.

Considering Overkill's track record, I doubt the console versions will be receiving the updates anywhere near the pace of the PC version, if at all. What you see is what you get for the consoles, while the PC version will likely be the only one updated.

Hope you have friends ready to make the PC switch with you cause if not then it's quite the transition. No one that I play with on Xbox One has the game on PC so when I play I have no team just people that don't know me or how I play. And the result is not progressing at all or very slowly. I'm Infamy V-100 on Xbox One. I'm like 63 on PC.
