Update on PS4 save file Big Score Retail not compatible

Has this issue ever been fixed? It's unbelievable that we're going on over 2 years now and absolutely zero update on why this hasn't been fixed yet. I started playing Payday 2 on the disc edition of the Big Score copy. After I had to give the game back I decided to purchase Payday 2 digitally and found out that my save file from the Big Score version wouldn't transfer over. I understand the explanation of why this happened in the link above, but it's unfathomable how you guys have not implemented a fix yet. Or have you? Please give us an update on this issue please!

Hi J0ESK0. We apologize for the confusion with the versions. We know this has been an issue that a few players had trouble with, and I am afraid this is not easy to solve now or back then.
The fix we had communicated above was not implemented in the end, as it could cause problems to users with existing save data on physical version of The Big Score. We are sorry for any inconvenience caused and we will update the support article above.

I appreciate you addressing my question even though I'm very displeased with your answer. I guess I'll just have to start all over at some point, don't see that happening any time soon tho. Oh well.
