So where is the Coop mode?

Just saying, bought this game with a friend because we love to play coop. But this is not for real here, only multiplayer against other players, not versus AI or a Coop-Campagin. Feel kind of betrayed..

There is zero coop mode. Bought the game to test it, bought it for my girl after we both liked it. $30 and 0 coop only multiplayer. Betrayed is a nice way to say what I feel. Steam store specifically says local coop and even that is not in the game. Maybe I am missing something? If we could even play this vs AI on the same computer that would make me happy. We just want to play coop vs AI, how can we do this? Plz Update.

Yes, I want to play coop... 2 players vs 2 AI. I bought two copies and installed on two computers. I can't find any way to do this.
