Make benches useful.

Right now they're not. I rarely see anybody use them at all, and i assume it is because they see it as a thing to give energy but they're at full energy constantly (due to perks on exhibits etc). Wouldn't it make sense to have people sit on benches for things like waiting, and this would help with the ridiculous queuing issues. I never place interactive displays ever because it would mean making a corridor just for the queues they will inevitably create. Same with entrances to the museum, no point having seating there, people will just stand in a massive straight line.

My guests use benches all the time. I don’t use energy perks, so they need somewhere to rest. The benches are useful, just not in the circumstances you’ve created; that’s not a bad thing, it’s a reflection of the gameplay choices you’ve made.

Since I almost never use the perk for the energy, my guests use the bench a lot. I even saw a rush toward a bench I just placed because I forgot for a long time to put any in a building.

I mostly use the perks to increase the buzz and the entertainment, lower the maintenance and decrease the risk of thieves.

Dunno how far you two are in the game but later there are perks to be slotted in with dual benefits, that's why pretty much all exhibits are providing them with energy + entertainment needs and also adding buzz (per perk slot). Regardless, it would help with the straight-line queuing system in any case.

I just got to Curator Level 7 and didn't even know we can get perks with two benefits. Now I understand better your point of view. The benches are still useful in the beginning of your museums.

I won't spoil it anymore than i might have already (sorry). But yeah i'm only curator level 5 so i think you probably have it unlocked by now. Have a look through your expeditions :).

I think it depends on which museum you prioritised. I finished or almost finished the story lines of three museums but have either one or two stars with the others. Good to know there is something to gain with the museums that interest me the least.

A lot of my perks were placed before I discovered the buzz+ perks, and quite frankly I can’t be bothered to farm for them for the exhibits I obtained after that point.

Looting the pristines again is/was the easy part. The double perk drops seem kind of rare. Or i'm just getting bad rng. There is also the ''dummy'' prize drop which further decreases your chance but i think it's worth it.
