[Known Issues] Mac players (NEW BUILD RELEASED)

Hi Mac Players,

We hope you're enjoying Two Point Museum :) We're aware of some issues that we're working to fix, and we're really sorry that you've come across these problems.

Currently we are aware of:

Flickering/flashing in Museums for some players - FIXED
Museums being dark for some players - FIXED
Stability issues/crashing for some players - IN PROGRESS

Update 30th April
There are bug fixes in the version 2 update, which went live today!

Please do let us know below if you continue to see any problems, and we'll investigate.

The beta did not resolve the issue. Flickering/flashing gotten worse after downloading beta. I will send the recording via email.

Same here. Beta didn't do anything for this issue. :(

Coronavirus has Two Point Museum

M1 iMac, game will no longer load. Worked just fine for 3 hours last night, but today will not even open.

I'm experiencing the dark museum problem but I'm not on Mac. Windows 10, NVIDIA Graphics Card. Playing with the lighting settings seems to make the situation a little better, if still quite dark, though this is definitely a bug that affects Windows as well.

I still can't click anywhere on the opening screen. I logged it over on your site. Tried tabing out to Finder and back in, tried not moving the cursor until its loaded ...still nothing. The load screen is also a blurry resolution. Anyone else unable to click? imac i7. Never had these issues with the other 2Point games.

Hey! So sorry you're having problems - are you getting an error? or does it just do an infinite load and nothing happen?

Same thing. Flashing and distorted graphics. No better, still can't play it.

Loving the game but can only play 30 minutes at a time - the flashing is too heavy on they eyes. It's happening with Two Point Campus for me as well. I hope you can fix it because I love the games and only have access to a MAC:

Hi..... playing on Beta today but the flashing continues. It appears to get worse the longer I'm on it. Occasionally at the start but after about 1/2 it's constant.

Hey carlaa-darcy - Sorry about this, it looks like you have an AMD Mac which we haven't yet fixed but we are actively working on this at the moment and I hope that we have a fix (or atleast a workaround while we are working on a proper fix) soon!

Storm_Watcher has Two Point Museum

Hello, unfortunately the flashing is still occurring for me on a new game for both the main branch and the mac beta branch as of two minutes ago. I am on an intel mac, and I tried restarting my computer and uninstalling/reinstalling the game just to be safe.

Here are my specs again:

Macbook Pro (2019)
OS: Monterey Version 12.7.6
Processor: 2.5 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
Memory: 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
