Report a translation problem
There are light sources in the game... but also we're also getting a few reports of bugs to do with lighting which we're investigating!
To help us investigate - are you playing on Window, Mac, Linux or Steamdeck?
Many thanks,
Jo
(I don't know if it's important but i have set the "Very Hight" predefined quality)
(And to see what the "problem" for me you can take a look on this image https://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2025/09/4/1740690431-1.jpg.
On it you can see it's too dark on the corner of my room and i don't know how add lights :/
And for some reason it's seem there are "ceilling light" at some location https://image.noelshack.com/fichiers/2025/09/4/1740690651-2.jpg
Sorry i can't add public screenshot on my profile for TPM :/)
It seems like you may be talking about different issues here.
Mage, you should find that as you progress through the campaign that you unlock lights from different themes as you go, you can have a look through the Enlightenment menu to see if there are any in there that you can unlock by analysing exhibits from the relevant theme. You may also find that areas around some light emitting objects such as aquariums do get darker - this is to provide some contrast as otherwise the light sources wouldn't have much visible effect.
El Amayo, it sounds like you are experiencing a different issue where the lighting does not work correctly in interior areas, appearing pitch black. We're currently investigating this issue and as it is only affecting specific players we are asking for details on the hardware you are playing the game on so that we can identify the cause of the issue.
Here are some instructions on getting a DXDiag file that will give us the information we need :)
To get a dxdiag report on your Windows computer, press the Windows key + R to open the Run window, type "dxdiag" and press Enter; in the DirectX Diagnostic Tool window, click "Save All Information" to generate a text file with your system details.
Thanks, Kris
