Game starts flashing
I just downloaded the game on my Mac - during the very first museum, after I test the controls, they ask me to click on a crate. When I do that, the whole screen starts flashing and I can't do anything but to shut it down. Does anyone else have this problem?

I'm dealing with this as well. The game flashes seemingly at random constantly.

Hi guys,

We're really sorry you are experiencing this issue.

We are currently working on a fix for this, but it would be really useful to know more about the hardware it is occurring on as this will help us identify the problem.

Please can you provide information on what Mac hardware you are using and what OS you are running?

You can get a system report by doing the following steps:
Click the Apple menu
Select System Settings
Click General in the sidebar
Click About
Click System Report

Thanks, Kris
I'm having this issue as well. The game flashes red when I load in, and then has random yellow flashes across the screen during gameplay. I've not had this issue with other games, even those with way higher thresholds. I lowered all the graphics setting to lowest quality, restarted, and still had the issue. Otherwise, loving the game.

iMac Pro
Processor - 3 GHz 10-Core Intel Xeon W
Graphics - Radeon Pro Vega 64X 16 GB
Memory - 64 GB 2666 MHz DDR4

Hi slumberquenn,

We're sorry this is affecting you, we are looking into the issue and I have passed your hardware details along to the team to help them identify the problem.

Thanks, Kris
I am also having this issue.

2017 MacBook Air
Processor: 1.8 GHz Dual-Core Intel Core i5
Graphics: Intel HD Graphics 6000 1536 MB
I am also experiencing this issue. For me it looks like amber vectors/artifacting flashing across the screen. This seems to happen regardless of the graphics settings, even after restarting.

Macbook Pro (2019)
OS: Monterey version 12.7.6
Processor: 2.4 GHz 8-Core Intel Core i9
Memory: 64 GB 2667 MHz DDR4
Graphics: Intel UHD Graphics 630 1536 MB
Hi there, I'm also having this problem. I have also trie trialling different graphics settings and restarting.

Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac20,1
OS: Sequoia 15.2
Processor Name: 6-Core Intel Core i5
Processor Speed: 3.1 GHz
Memory: 40 GB
Graphics card: AMD Radeon Pro 5300
Same problem with my Mac - game play continues but random flashes across the screen to the point of Migraine! Its happening with both TP Museum and Campus
3.2 GHz 6-Core Intel i7, Radeon Pro Vega 20.4 GB, Sequoia 15.3.1
Just some additional info in case it's helpful: this may be related to some animation effects (like from dust or donations). I noticed once I built the workshop, I started getting more flashes in the same dark blue as the workshop screens.
Add me to the list:

Model Name: iMac
Model Identifier: iMac19,1
Processor Name: 8-Core Intel Core i9
Processor Speed: 3.6 GHz
Number of Processors: 1
Total Number of Cores: 8
L2 Cache (per Core): 256 KB
L3 Cache: 16 MB
Memory: 64 GB
Same issue with a 2019 Macbook Pro. Random flashing textures during animations - a lot of it when visitors are taking photos.

Hi everyone - I just wanted to update to say that we're still investigating this and we're so sorry for the problems!

If possible, sending any photos or videos of what you see when you play would be really useful - you can send these to support@twopointstudios.com

Many thanks,
Jo
I had this today too after a long game session running in fast-forward for around 30 minutes suddenly the screen began to flash on all textures, I thought my graphics card was melting down. I think its related to shaders / texture / something definately caused internally by the rendering engine. After game restart the visual flashing of kind of every texture was gone.

I'm not sure if this is related or a separate issue, but I tried to get a video/screenshot and realized I cannot access the Steam Overlay while in-game. I confirmed I can still access the overlay in other games. I'll see if I can find another way to get a screenshot.
