I'm sorry you're still seeing this issue - Would you mind sending us your Two Point Museum folder to support@twopointstudios.com so that we can take a look at whats happening?
If you are using windows, you can find it here; C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\
To find it type %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\ in to file explorer - it is a hidden folder.
If you zip it up and attach to the email with a link to this thread we should have everything that we need.
Many thanks,
Jo
1. Load Steam
2. From the Library section, right-click on the game and select Properties from the menu.
3. Select the Local files tab and click the ‘VERIFY INTEGRITY OF GAME FILES…’ button.
4. Steam will verify the game's files - this process may take several minutes.
5. Once the process is completed, the Check Window will automatically exit.
6. We recommend verifying your cache twice to make sure all files are fully downloaded.
Let me know how you get on,
Many thanks,
Jo
As much as I love to listen to Hayley Von Trowel this is really bad and it is ruining my experience. I have recorded a short video of Charlie and it is breaking my heart.

Thank you - we'll take a look at your save and fix ASAP!
Sorry about the bug :/
Hey, I didn't want to start a new thread just for this but I'm basically having the exact same problem. Once in a while, a random employee would just start... dying. There will be a pop up where they're threatening to quit, and when I observe their behaviour, they just walk back and forth and back and forth in the SAME line and never really go anywhere.
Their meters are ALL empty. However, when I put them in a toilet, they just walk out of the toilet and start pacing around again. Only putting them in a staff room seems to trigger them to rest.
Also, so far, I've only observed Museum Scientists doing this. No Janitors, Clerks or security. I will also E-mail you this save game along with this report.
Thank you!
EDIT: I can't upload the files as they are around 50 mb even at maximum zip and my mail service only allows a 25 mb attachment =(
Hey - I'm sorry you're having this problem!
Can I please check if you tried verifying your game files? Some players say that this has ifxes the problem for them.

If that doesn't work, it would be great to see your save to help us figure it out - WeTransfer is good for transferring bigger files :)
Many thanks,
Jo
I removed the explorer case from my staff rooms, and now everything seems fine. There hasn't been a problem in the last 20 minutes. I was surprised anyway. Before patch 2.0, no one used the item, and now I constantly see my staff using these items. Could it be that other new items also have too high an attractiveness?
This especially happens with people who only have one need partially depleted. Depending on how the pathfinding is currently calculated (I assume it's updated at certain intervals), the characters suddenly take a different route, or another location becomes closer or faster to reach based on the updated path.
Edit: Same Issue at the visitor after time, not only the staff
2nd Edit: After saving the game, back to Menu, load the game, all pathfind problems are gone. Staff and visitor moving normly.
The issue doesn’t only affect staff—it also affects visitors. However, with visitors, it’s less noticeable because they eventually leave the museum.
Regardless of the specific need, after a certain amount of time, everyone starts switching back and forth between two unknown points. For visitors, they walk away from an exhibit and then return to it. The info panel always says "Wants to visit exhibit XY" no matter where they're going.
Returning to the main menu and reloading the game fixes everything. All problems are gone after a reload. It also seems like the issues gradually increase over time. At first, everything is normal before they start “losing their minds” 😄. That’s why I suspected certain items might have unusually high attractiveness.
Verifying the game files only causes the game to restart, so the issue doesn’t appear right away—which might explain why that seems to help.
Ya outdid yourself there.
For me, the issue appears after around 25 minutes in a session. Saves do not work to reproduce this. You have to run the session for a lengthy time and then spot the weird guests, staff might randomly just never be affected (where its easiest to notice).
Often it takes 3+ hours before a staff member is stuck and I notice the problem to begin with. Sounds like a non issue, but its actualyl a huge issue. At that point you have tons of stuck guests who don't ever donate. This lowers income substantially. And on reload, income up, guests unstuck. Hah.
I can also confirm that only way to unbreak staff is staff room.
