Analysis stuck at 100%

I tried to analyze my first botany item (Blooming Buffoon) and it got to 100% but didn't complete somehow. My expert with Lvl 3 analyst walked away since it was complete, but the message that the Analyzer is needed in the room keeps popping up. It stated there is still 82 days remaining even though it is at 100%.
I tried reloading the game and that didn't work. I cancelled the job on the machine and it went back in my inventory but when I put it back on the machine it instantly says it's at 100% with 82 days. I cancelled again and tried to analyze a different item and get the same thing.... 100% with 82 days remaining, and my analyst won't even go to the room even though the game is saying he's needed.
Without being able to analyze anything I can't progress any more in the game. I'm sad now.
