Public Beta (Bug Fixes 1.2.176713)
Hi everyone,

I hope you're all enjoying Two Point Museum!! We've really loved seeing all your comments and screenshots, and we've been very busy fixing any bugs that have slipped through!

We have uploaded a build to our beta branch with some bug fixes! We've not gone though our full QA process on the build just yet but we wanted to get this build out to you ASAP

To access the beta branch follow the steps below:
1. Right-click Two Point Museum in your game library and select Properties (if you have Steam running, you may need to log out and in again)
2. Select the BETAS tab.
3. Choose public_beta from the drop-down menu.
4. The build will start downloading (The build number is 1.2.176713)

Please note that saves created on the beta branch will not work on the current live build. We recommend you take a backup of your save files if you might want to switch back to the live build. As soon as we push this fix out to the live build, you will be able to come of the patch beta branch :) There are instructions on how to back up saves in here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2185060/discussions/1/594016102539903117/

Updated:
  • Additional tutorialisation for Analysis room.
  • Twitch integration summary updated
  • Updates to Twitch integration to ensure the vomit events aren’t too overpowering!
  • Tentative fix for lighting issues (very dark Museums!)

Fixed:
  • Fixed a softlock in Bungle Wasteland (Objective to display a Spa Point II can be hard locked if you can only build a Spa Point III in the workshop)
  • Fixed a bug which was causing the inventory icon to be showing above exhibits occasionally
  • Fixed a bug where visitors became clustered around exhibits occasionally
  • Fixed an issue where the guests will sometimes stop moving
  • Fix for Mucher Objective in Bungle Wasteland - the game is now happy if you've got a higher level of Mulcher (If you've come across this bug - you will need to pick up and replace the Mulcher after the update for the objective to tick off)
  • Fix for some cases of stuck VIP visitors
  • Fix for some cases of expeditions become stuck when returning
  • Fixed an issue where the staff in Marketing will not leave on break
  • Performance drop when looking at a ghost with the polterguest UI open
  • Quick Saving and quick loading during Demolition
  • Fixed issue where sandbox level starts with thief guild already active
  • Miscellaneous bugs fixes and Stability improvements
  • Optimisation improvements.
  • Giftshop is now a little brighter

Great news and thanks for the quick turnaround on the marketing bug!

The poor staff members were suffering in my games...
