Unable to Launch due to Unity error
The game crashes immediately on launching, with no error message, though I was able to find more information in the Windows event viewer, suggesting the issue is Unity.

I am able to open other unity games, such as Two Point Campus, Timberborn, and Mind over Magic.

Hi, after trying some stuff, including everything in the link above, I found that I could get the game to launch using my usb headphones. So I uninstalled the Realtek Audio Driver and using the windows built in drivers I can get the game to launch using my speakers. Reinstalling the audio drivers caused the crash to happen again.

My motherboard is the ROG STRIX Z370-H GAMING, and I got the Realtek HD Audio from their website: https://rog.asus.com/uk/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-z370-h-gaming-model/helpdesk_download/

I've decided to uninstall the drivers again, as I didn't use any of the extra functionality from the software, so I can play this game now, but thought this information might be useful as this is the only game I encountered the issue with and it is a bug that others might stumble in to, especially after proper release next week.

Let me know if there is any other info I can give you about my setup that might help you out

Hi there! Sorry you're having problems launching the game :( That does look like a hard crash, and it shouldn't be happening!

First thing is to try some of the general troubleshooting to rule out some common things like the game not being installed properly - could you please follow the 'restart game', 'corrupted files' and 'drivers' section here?

https://steamcommunity.com/app/2185060/discussions/1/594016102539903117/

If none of those work, could you please gather up the contents of your Two Point Museum folder (C:\Users\<username>\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\Two Point Museum) in a zip file, and send them to us? Either create a new bug report on our community forum (here: https://community.twopointcounty.com/two-point-studios/two-point-museum/bugs) or I see you've emailed through already, so following up there would be great too :)

Thank you!

I'm so glad you're back into the game!

Also that's really useful info, thanks! Sounds like it's possible we have some incompatibility with some versions of the Realtek Audio Driver. I'll add that to our Known Issues and Troubleshooting steps.

Just to check - the version you had installed was from the link you posted, version 6.0.1.8746?

Yes, it was that version
