And your post history mentions other games you crash in:
https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198023665819/posthistory/?q=crash
The basics:
1. Check your drivers are up to date
2. Verify game files (from steam library)
3. Reboot your system (after verify and updates)
4. Don't run a bunch of nonsense at the same time the game is running
It would be okay-ish if there was some sort of manual or backup saves, but I lost all of my career progress. There's a thread on reddit where someone else had the same issue. It's reasonable to expect the game to be stable and have a way to avoid total data loss imho.
And there's even backup save files that you can restore from...
1. You haven't listed hardware
2. If you are finding crashes in specific places of the game, you should report them (there's even a bug forum)
3. It seems like you've not even looked in the bug report forums which have this information already pinned:

Yes, and? I never said otherwise.
But if you're not going to participate in trouble shooting (like listing your hardware) it's going to be hard for anyone to help you.
I'm sorry to hear you're experiencing crashes! I recommend trying the Troubleshooting steps here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2185060/discussions/1/594016102539903117/
If you are still having problems after, would you mind sending us your Two Point Museum folder to support@twopointstudios.com so that we can take a look at whats causing the problem?
If you are using windows, you can find it here; C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\ (type %APPDATA%\..\LocalLow\Two Point Studios\ in to file explorer)
If you zip it up and attach to the email we should have everything that we need.
Thanks,
Jo
I have mailed the zipped Two Point Studio folder.
When moving rooms or deleting rooms not everything get somehow deleted in the save data, because when I try to place things on that location it shows a little popup message that something is already there while it's not and when you place something it will crash to desktop after a 30 to 60 seconds.
So sorry to hear that - we had a look through your files and in our Error reporting as well and it looks like your PC may be unhappy! Have you had any problems with any other games?
Here are some suggested steps:
Verify game files in case it's the game install
Check if other games are stable (if others crash then that suggests it's their PC)
Check PC isn't too hot, might be overheating, check fans are clean etc
Run memtest to check RAM
Run OCCT or some other stress test to check CPU+PSU
There are some instructions on the above here: https://steamcommunity.com/app/2185060/discussions/1/594016102539903117/
Please let us know how you get on, and we'll check your latest crash as well now.
Many thanks,
Jo
Did you try all of the steps above, to help check your PC?
Yes and there is nothing wrong on my side, the crashes happen sometimes when editing things inside of the museum, to change layouts or rooms when things sometimes crash and more often when further in the game.
I found a bug thats when you have freezers in a room and you remove a wall to make the room bigger, that it creates a bug that you get a warning when placing stuff, when you place it the game will crash bad, I tested again and a whole area also outside of the room area is affected with it.
Then another test, loaded that save (editing the backup) and did the same thing but removed first the freezers and then removed the walls, then there was no bug at all and it's still running fine.
I have helped many small indie devs with bug finding to play there beta versions and it always ended up that they found the bugs and nothing is wrong on my side.
It's pretty cheap to blame a bug on someones pc because he always reporting bugs ;)
Hope to help out this way.
You're looking at it the wrong way.
It's not about "blaming someone's PC" it's about comparing all possible factors.
First you rule out the basics (driver, corrupt files, etc) and then you start comparing what cross factors are occurring. If it was a global issue, you wouldn't be the only person reporting it. Since it's only a segment of people reporting it, you have to find what they have in common.
I don't care what you think you're reporting, if someone says their PC won't turn on, I promise you the first questions will be making sure the thing is actually plugged in correctly before we talk about anything else.
There's a logic to bug tracking and it starts with comparing hardware and configurations. Not even in the line of "it's the PC's fault" but in the line of: what is the game doing that is causing that collection of parts to not work right when others don't have that issue.
We're not talking about a console where everyone is on the same hardware. PC games have to be tweaked across a near unlimited number of possible hardware configurations. Every difference in resolution and rendering can have its own set of bugs and glitches to track down, let alone every other possible variant.
They can't figure out what's wrong (even if it's the game) if they don't know what the game is interacting with that's causing the conflict.
Sorry if we sound like we're doubting you! We just have to check. I've seen a LOT of crashes over the years, and these ones do look like the kinds of crashes that happen with poorly PCs. But that doesn't mean they definitely are, it could well be bugs in the game :)
So I've checked our crash reporting system again, and interestingly, one of the crashes you had that's during playing a level, has now happened to another player. For someone else to crash in the same way would be incredibly unlikely if it was a hardware problem. If you could send through any kind of save files/videos showing what kind of thing you're doing when you crash, that would be great!
The other crashes though, are still one-off and very strange-looking (in code that I can't see how it would ever crash), so I'd still recommend doing some kind of stress test like OCCT to check if there are any hardware/overheating issues. It's totally possible that it's hardware-related but also that you've hit a bug :)
Thanks for your help!
