Expedition XP rewards moves progress bar barwards ?!?

While the result XP points for both Experts are positive (+34 each), and the points in their respective progress bars increases (67 to 101, and 111 to 145), the blue progress animation for the first increases, and for the second decreases.

A bug in the animation?

the decrease you are seeing is because they leveled up and thats the progress through the next level. so its not actually decreasing, it just doesnt fill up completely then start filling from 0 again.
