The whole content being locked into a pre-order leaves a sour taste in my mind. I know it isn't new to SEGA, many companies do it.

The issue with pre-orders is imo, i have no idea if the game will be any good, what state it will release in etc, so throwing money at a game prior to it even being released is dumb. The only time i ever saw a ''reason'' to pre-order was in ''disc'' days, ie, the next GTA will be coming out and you know it's gonna sell like hotcakes, you want it day 1 so you reserve a copy, or pre-order. Now games are digital transactions that element is gone. Keep pre-order incentives if you must but locking actual content behind it is bad.

Yea, I dislike pre-order bonuses as well, and SEGA is doing it as much as they can. What I often do is that I pre-order the game to lock down the bonus, and see if the game is good enough to keep it as a full price purchase or to just refund it, and re-buy it again when it's cheaper.

It does seem sketchy for sure, but I did give out the codes no questions asked. I'm not sure what Rasg0s was on about because agreed to wait because of some problem on his side, and the next day he just out of the blue posted that while on my friend list without ever messaging me again. And I didn't scam him at all.

Please purchase keys from reputable retailers!

Just stop with the fomo stuff entirely. This game hit my radar today, and I hate that I'm locked out of content because of faked digital scarcity for no good reason.
