I have yet to see that perk in my game, but it may be similar to the one that locks down an exhibit in being a super rare potential reward when you get random perks from an event during an expedition.
I'll check that out.
That's also not what we're talking about here, though.
I wish the game didn't constantly give me the pop ups that I can add perks to my marine stuff when I don't actually have any perks that qualify for it. What's the point of telling me I can, when I can't?
Passed this onto the designers and they've been taking a look today; they've logged a bug where an incorrect Perk can be applied on the Fish Feeders, and are discussing ways to reward the relevant Perk, as, as you've all found, it's so very rare to earn it whilst analysing fish.
