Room sizes
The biggest thing I didn't like in Two Point Hospital was the forced room size and shape, I felt it limited creativity and all the hospitals ended looking pretty much the same. Other than that, it was a rather good game though solvable.

Are there strict room or exhibition sizes in this one? I think it would be better if I could make whatever size I want but that then would have an effect on the museum visitors enjoyment etc.

there are a few "rooms" like bathroom and such that are carried over from others, but you can fully have an open floorplan with all your exhibits if you want, there is a museum wall that allows you to place your own walls, doors, windows ect to freeform
Item placement can be problematic as well when using partition walls as it adds a layer of new snapping restrictions. Another thing I noticed is that partition walls will not always behave properly when custom textures are applied to anything that is not a full tile in length.
also, the aquarium for some reason is taller than all the walls so knowledge boards and donation bins collect from them also. . . feels like an oversight
