Number of coin bins and information boards?
Ey,
Just a quick question how many Coin bins do you guys usually place and does anyone know what / how much of a difference it makes?

Currently i end up putting multiple coin bins around with several of them hitting (having blue lines) to the same exhibits, the same goes for Info panels, the issue is it usually ends up getting pretty cluttered.
So is it better to just have 1-2 for everything in the vicinity or just to plaster them around, same goes for information boards

On another noté I had the giant curved info board but haven't seen a single person read off from it, and the "exorcise room" have a total tips of 0 while another of the entertainment things i build later is at around 10k, are these just bugs or are there some hidden rules (there are plenty of gold bins around like 4-5

Cheers

I tend to space the coin bins quite evenly along the main paths, so every exhibit has at least one, but many have two or more. As far as I can tell when someone wants to donate they just walk to the nearest one. I don't think having excessive amounts increases cashflow but I am ready to be corrected.

As long as a single info board is in vicinity then I don't tend to do more. This seems to fill all knowledge requirements.

It seems guests get a "i want to donate" trigger after looking at a exhibit, if they don't find a collection bin in time, they will literally lose this want and will walk straight past the bin without donating.

So yeah, its a good idea to put multiple down throughout your museums.

Also bins have an upper limit on how much they can hold, if a visitor is unable to put into the bin because they are full, they no longer will want to donate and will move on.

You are right though, the limit should be around 2 connections, it really depends on the exhibits though, some cause visitors to want to donate a much higher value, and if that 1 bin servicing 3 exhibits gets full, thats a loss of earnings.
