Less decorations than in the other games?
Is it just me or are there less decorations than in the other games? E.g. potted indoor flowers. There are like only 2 types instead of 4? Or the staff room, without a TV or radio seems like so empty.

Also there is no folder for out-door only items like in the other games.

The staff room does have an unlockable TV that is hooked up to a game system, but my staff barely uses it. I'm a bit disappointed in the decorating options as well, like there's a ton of unlockable rugs but only two color schemes and many of them are just different sizes of the same design, and I don't see the reason to have THAT many tree and bush options when the guests have no reason to stay outside; they won't even rest on an outside bench when they're exhausted, they go inside to sit. I know you can place trees inside but I like being able to see most of my museum in top-down mode without a forest canopy in the way.
You unlock new decorations with knowledge.

For each category you can analyze exhibits instead of placing them. This will gain you points towards that exhibits type which will unlock items (around 50 for each type)

There's lots of decorative items that unlock throughout the game - we actually have more in Museum than in previous games :) plus the colour picker tool!

I was also missing the plants though to be honest..... however - luckily someone has added them as Mod items via Steamwork shop! Here are all the Steam workshop items: https://steamcommunity.com/workshop/browse/?appid=2185060&browsesort=trend&section=readytouseitems&days=90
Also if you haven't noticed; there is a small 'brush' icon on many of the items, allowing you to choose between several variations of the same piece.

it definitely feels like the botany decorations are more generalized. there's not a lot for ice age / frozen finds / mountainous plants.

and more non-rug general decorations. maybe there could be thematically specific clocks.

i feel like the brush icon and color picker tools could be more explicitly explained.

there was so much wacky stuff you could throw down in Campus. i know this game just came out, so i hope Two Point won't rely on mods to fill in the blanks for them. the games industry does not need more bethesda shenanigans.

We'd never do that! We are already working on some new items for an update coming soon :)

The game and I clearly have different definitions of "Large" rugs. I unlocked them and was so disappointed. I want them twice as large, at least.

Well good to know that I'm not alone with this thought haha. What I'm also missing would be a "sandstone"-floor tile. Would fit the prehistoric theme. Gonna look at the mods now, maybe I'll find something there. (:

creative dev item makers, could you please (oh, please) consider adding a science-steampunk style walls and floors options, please. I love the prehistoric walls and floors and the cool space wall and floor options, but I feel like we don't have such a variety of choices for our science museum that match the awesome science-steampunk decor. ty tyty

as for the decorations currently, you unlock so many that you can't even see RN. When you gain star levels in each museum and when you analyse items you end up unlocking so many more decorations. I was worried about the lack of wall items, pictures and such but you unlock two stunning pictures, per museum, once you hit rank 5 star for instance.

I'm glad to hear there will be more items coming in future updates. I feel the decorations are really lacking as well so far sadly. The customize feature is great but when I'm trying to decorate some rooms (such as the Analysis or Workshop) I'd like to have something other than just rugs. You can only put so many rugs in a room and it's not easy to get to Level 5 rooms with mostly just rugs, you know?

Somebody else mentioned the lack of ice/snow themed decorations as well and I strongly agree with that. I'd like something other than the pillar and the rock :( Some icicles to hang on the walls like you can some of the plants would be a fun feature for example, or a fun ice/snow themed light similar to the amber (or can I customize the amber to another color? I didn't check that now that I think about it).
The big one I want is more things to hang on the walls. Each theme only has a couple of wall items, and everything else sits on the floor.

And more colours.

Also I noticed pictures have gone. Not all walls are big enough for the massive ones which at the moment only seem to be water themed. But they cover the hole wall. Where are the smaller pictures for staff rooms and other rooms.

The only one I've got at the moment is a ghost picture which isn't for every room and theme.
