Info on finding place of exhibits
Why is in the sticker book not the information where i have found (or can find again) this exhibit? That would be very helpful

I think it should also be in the info card when you select the exhibit when it is placed in the museum.
I've just been writing everything down as I find it. I tried looking for a list online, but the only one I found was on a gaming site with a ton of ads and the screen kept going black, so.....don't trust that page.

Not even the wiki has it.
yeah i posted on that guide, can't wait for Marnirie to get the Bone guide up they did a great job

You can click your helicopter pad, and go to Maps.
Click on the location you want to go, and you will see a rewards tab.
In the rewards tab, will be every Find, Perk, or Undiscovered item you have explored at that location.
This makes it easy to find the exhibits you want to improve on, or perks you like to get more of.
This will also tell you if the location is for experience or healing.
You can also do this before an expedition or while your experts are away.

You could do that… but that involves a lot of clicking if you don’t remember which location has the specific item. If you’ve found something, there’s no reason why the sticker book shouldn’t tell you where so you can easily target that location again.

My biggest confusion is not remembering which fish are tropical or the other type. Used the wrong net a few times now. Not sure why you can use items that do nothing for that adventure in the first place.

Wow, your right Two Clicks is just too much to bear.
Having more than one way to do something must be for big brain players.

Two clicks per location checked. If you don't remember which map you got the artifact from (some artifacts are gained from different maps, especially the botany ones). That can add up to a lot of clicks with additional clicks to move around the map to click on more locations.
A sub-need from this would be that for any discovered exhibit in a location that you could also see the knowledge level of that exhibit without having to jump between menus and gameplay

It really does add up fast, but it’s also frustrating that I’m wasting time and effort scrolling around the map(s) to re-find something. I’m not sure why Growler is so hostile over a simple QoL addition that could save players some time, some effort, and just make the whole experience smoother.

I play with pen and paper next to me because I know my memory is pretty bad, but if that function was built in to the game, that would low-key elevate my experience.

I found a trident/fork on the marine map but I'm missing the other parts to it but for the life of me, I don't remember where it came from. Nowhere does it tell me, not on the item or on the map. I checked each map area for rewards they give and I can't see the trident/fork one anywhere.
its from wetlantis, you got to go deep, very deep

You know what happens when you go deep in Subnuatica.
Most of the museums reward you with a special exhibit early on for which you currently do not have the location unlocked to get more of it/them. For the Passwater Cove museum, the Trident Fork is like that. You get it right at the beginning of the Museum, but you cannot complete it until you've unlocked more locations and found the location it is from.
