I too make the small room to force the traffice.
I call this the forced exit through the gift shop :)

But yes adding one-way archways to rooms (or one-way and even staff-only versions of their native doors) would be lovely.
Regarding decorative one-way arches, in the meantime there are mods.
Including building main and side entrance, gift shop and cafeteria doors.
Also, I wish you could put them also in the fences (like the half height glass wall) not just full walls.
Yup, like that you can put the sponsored plushies in the shop, and the sponsored
billboard on the wall just opposite the gift shop exit.
Makes sure guests don't get annoy by them too soon, and squeezes the last bit out of everyone when leaving.
Just make sure you have another gift shop (without sponsorships) somewhere sooner.
Cause if the only one is at the exit, many guests will have ended their visit somewhere before, and walk right trough it.
You could put a 2nd metal detector on the entrance side, in case the guard is not at his chair.
Also one in front of every toilet, to counter the thieves entering trough them. + a camera as backup on all of them.
True, but I usually just put a camera (it's slightly visible in the screenshot) as a backup. Not sure if it's just as effective but it works.
Though I recognise that it may not be so straightforward on a technical level to have them function that way.
